Ingredients

Scale

Martini

  • 4 oz vodka (vanilla vodka can be used; look for gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 oz Kahlua (or coffee liqueur)
  • 3 oz fresh brewed espresso, cooled, or strong cold brew coffee
  • 2 oz half & half (use Nutpods or Califia Farms Peppermint Mocha creamer for dairy-free version)
  • ¼ tsp peppermint extract

Chocolate Peppermint Rims & Garnish

  • Chocolate syrup
  • Crushed candy canes
  • 6 espresso beans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Glass Rims: Dip the rims of two martini glasses in chocolate syrup to coat them evenly, then immediately dip the rims into crushed candy canes to create the festive chocolate peppermint rim.
  2. Mix Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, Kahlua, cooled espresso, half & half (or dairy-free creamer), and peppermint extract to the shaker.
  3. Shake: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 60 seconds to combine all ingredients thoroughly and chill the mixture.
  4. Serve: Strain and divide the mixture evenly between the prepared martini glasses. Garnish each glass with 3 espresso beans on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • To add a mocha flavor, include 2 teaspoons of chocolate syrup in the shaker with the other ingredients.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute the half & half with original or peppermint mocha flavored Nutpods creamer or Califia Farms Peppermint Mocha creamer.
  • Nutrition facts exclude the chocolate peppermint rim.
  • Shake well to ensure full flavor blending and proper chilling of the cocktail.
