Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Butter or grease a 9×13 inch baking pan thoroughly to prevent sticking and to allow easy removal of the bars later.
  2. Melt the Mixture: In a large saucepan, combine the 5 cups of mini marshmallows, milk chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup. Melt all ingredients together over low heat while gently stirring with a rubber spatula to prevent burning and ensure smooth melting.
  3. Combine with Cereal: Once the mixture is fully melted and smooth, remove the pan from heat and place it on a heat-proof surface. Immediately stir in the 7 cups of Golden Grahams cereal and the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows. The mixture will be very sticky.
  4. Press into Pan: Transfer the sticky mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use the back of a lightly greased spatula to flatten and evenly press down the mixture into the pan for uniform bars.
  5. Cool and Set: Allow the bars to harden at room temperature for about 60 minutes before cutting into squares. This resting time helps the bars set properly without refrigeration.
