It’s easy to prepare and serves up comfort food vibes with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed

Condiments and Seasonings

  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef along with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the beef thoroughly until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess grease to keep the dip from being oily.
  2. Combine Ingredients in Crockpot: Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot. Add shredded cheddar cheese, cubed Velveeta, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickle juice. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Slow Cook the Dip: Set the crockpot to LOW heat and cook the mixture for 2 to 3 hours. Stir occasionally during cooking to help the cheese melt evenly and all flavors blend into a creamy dip.
  4. Keep Warm and Serve: Once the cheese is fully melted and the dip is creamy, switch the crockpot setting to WARM to keep the dip at serving temperature. Serve the dip directly from the slow cooker for easy access.
  5. Optional Garnishes: Before serving, optionally garnish with sesame seeds, shredded lettuce, or extra pickles to enhance the visual appeal and mimic Big Mac toppings.
