Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F to prepare for baking the stuffed mushrooms.

  4. Mix Filling Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the cooled garlic and mushroom stem mixture with softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir thoroughly until well blended.
  5. Stuff Mushrooms: Fill each mushroom cap generously with the prepared filling. For ease, use a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner cut off to pipe the mixture into the caps evenly.
  6. Arrange and Top Mushrooms: Place the stuffed mushroom caps on a clean cast iron skillet or another oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the tops of each stuffed mushroom.
